Armed with eight 12.7mm machineguns, the Thunderbolt, with the P-51 Mustang, constituted the main fighters of the US Army Air Force. This is the representation of P-47D early production that was nicknamed 'razorback' because of the shape of its upper fuselage behind the cockpit. The P-47D was a high-speed, high-altitude capable fighter and escorted the allied bombers that were conducting raids over Germany. Its 1-ton payload and its robustness made the Thunderbolt the perfect aircraft for ground attacking missions. \u003c\/p\u003e ","brand":"Tamiya","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42769156374624,"sku":"14010","price":34.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0585\/3013\/6160\/files\/14010_alt-0.jpg?v=1779604281","url":"https:\/\/brickbuilder.com.au\/products\/tamiya-1-72-p-47d-thunderbolt","provider":"Toys and Hobbys Australia","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
