Basic Rules
Number of players from 2 to 6.
Each player may use a pencil and paper for calculations.
Separate the target cards from the number cards.
Deal one target card to each player face up.
Deal two number cards in the centre face up.
Players are required to use the number cards in the centre, in any combination of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and bracketing to reach their target number.
Not all number cards in play need to be used but each card can be used only once.
If no-one finds a solution with the number cards in play, deal out another number card. Players are given time to do their calculations. Repeat this process until someone finds a solution.
When a player finds their target they call out GOT IT! and present their solution. That target card is retained and set aside as a record of their win.
Example:
Target Card: 84
Number cards: 7, 20, 10, 100 and 20.
Solution: 100 – (7+10)+(20÷20) = 84
Start another game as above.
The game ends when a player has 5 wins. (Collected 5 target cards.)
